Thank you for your interest in supporting Together Academy’s initiatives! Over 90% of adults with Down syndrome in Ireland are unemployed. With your help, we can change this, and provide essential employment training to adults across the country. The Together Academy is a unique college and social enterprise café in Dublin, which will provide people with Down syndrome specialised certified training, on the job experience, future work placements and a critical social and support network.

Where your donation goes

Your donation goes directly to our Academy and social enterprise café, helping ensure a greater number of adults with Down syndrome have the opportunity to seek employment and training. Donations as small as €5 help us continue growing and building a variety of programmes for our Together Academy students, both in-person and online. Your support changes lives, and provides an avenue for people with Down syndrome to reach their full potential in meaningful employment.

As a growing social enterprise, sustainable funding and community support are essential to helping us expand our reach to the 90% of adults with Down syndrome around Ireland who are not currently employed.

Governance and transparency

We are a project of the Down Syndrome Centre, a registered charity in compliance with Ireland’s Charities Regulator (Charity No: CHY 15750). All donations and support are tax deductible under the Charity Regulator, with donations over €250 qualifying for tax relief.
